Inevitable Ape is a reading site, not a data-collection business. You can read the Site without creating an account or giving us your name, email address, or payment information.
What we do not collect
We do not have user accounts, comments, an email list, or a newsletter signup. We do not use Google Analytics, the Pinterest Tag, advertising pixels, or tools that build profiles of individual visitors. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
Limited site analytics
The Site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides basic, aggregated page-view and site-performance information. According to Cloudflare, this service does not collect or use visitors' personal data, does not use cookies or local storage, and does not track people across websites. Hosting and fonts
Cloudflare processes ordinary web requests so it can deliver and protect the Site. Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser also requests those font files from Google. Those companies handle their systems under their own privacy policies. We do not receive individual visitor profiles from either service.
Emailing us
The Contact page is a direct email link, not a form that sends information through the Site. If you choose to email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use that information to read and respond to your note, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Affiliate links
Our articles contain links to retailers and other third-party sites. When you follow one, that site receives the request and may use cookies or other technology under its own privacy policy. An affiliate network may tell us that a referral led to a purchase, but we do not receive your payment-card details. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Cookies
The Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies when it needs to check suspicious traffic or protect the Site. Retailers and other sites you choose to visit may set their own cookies after you leave Inevitable Ape.
Your choices
There is no Inevitable Ape visitor profile or mailing-list record to manage. If you emailed us and want us to delete that correspondence, contact us at the address on our Contact page.
Children
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If the Site later adds an email list, comments, advertising tools, or broader analytics, we will update this policy before or when that change goes live. The date above shows the most recent revision.
